Looking for a great family outing?

Our lavender farm is open year-round, Wednesday to Saturday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, including our lavender farm gift shop. Take a day trip and visit us! Sit on the swing in the lavender field and meet our Babydoll sheep: Beau and Peep, Larry, his brother Daryl, his other brother Daryl (yes, they are twins!), and Annabelle. Stop in our gift shop to chat with us about our lavender fields and lavender farm life in Chenango County, play a game of corn hole, take a walk down Woodpecker Way, or simply enjoy our fantastic panoramic view!

Our farm is open for u pick lavender when the lavender field begins to bloom, generally from mid-July through mid-August. Stay updated on lavender picking time by following us on our Instagram or Facebook pages.

Our new and improved gift shop is open Wednesday to Saturday from 10:00 am-5:00 pm or by appointment. We offer a variety of lavender products from cozy, lavender-filled eye pillows and Warmies® Plush animals to bath and body products made on-site to the perfect culinary lavender for your next culinary dish!

Our quality lavender products are made and chosen with our customers in mind, ensuring we only offer the best. After u pick lavender season, Eric distills our lavender for its essential oil and makes all of our wonderful lavender sprays, lotions, soaps, and lip balms using our very own lavender essential oil, while Kathy creates many of our other hand-made products, including our popular mugs, coasters, and lavender stress bags.

All our products on our website are available for curbside pickup or shipping.

Local Farm Events

U-Pick Lavender

We open the field to the public each year when the lavender field blooms and offer u pick lavender sessions Wednesday through Sunday. We provide the tools and supplies needed to cut your own lavender bunches. Bring a picnic lunch, take your time, and enjoy the field and the view while you are here.

We offer fresh-cut lavender bunches ready to purchase in our gift shop and dried lavender year-round. After the close of the lavender u-pick season, the remaining lavender in the lavender field is harvested to be distilled, dried, and used in our lavender products.

Workshops

We are excited to announce that we are now offering workshops! Beginning in 2023, we offer workshops for a variety of ages. From lavender-filled sock bunnies for children to spring bouquet-making and fairy gardens for teens and adults, our workshops are a great way to spend an afternoon or evening out. We offer guided instructions with room for creative freedom, conversation, and complimentary snacks, making your experience fun and unique to you.

Private Events

We offer private events and tours at Hillcrest Lavender Farm upon request. Spending time at the lavender farm as a group is all the more memorable when you have the place to yourself! We host private tours and info sessions with gardening clubs, senior center day trips, and assisted living groups, amongst others.

In addition to events and tours, we provide workshops as private events for small groups. If you're looking for a great way to spend time with family, friends, or coworkers, we highly recommend booking a private event with us.
